Only 10 days into 2021 and these Armie Hammer cannibal rumours have shaken Twitter. Whether you believe it or not, there are been some pretty wild reactions to it.
The alleged DMs that sparked the bizarre rumour were originally shared on Tumblr and private Instagram accounts, @houseofeffie and @truths.and.facts, but were posted publicly on Twitter shortly thereafter.
Coming from multiple women, the alleged DMs show conversations of an explicit nature, with the actor allegedly referring to women as “kittens” and talking of “drinking blood” and “eating hearts”.
“I am 100% a cannibal” reads one of the alleged leaked messages.
However, the veracity of the DMs has been called into question, with many believing they weren’t actually written by actor Armie Hammer.
The DMs might not be real
Many fans have rushed to debunk the DMs, with some suggesting they could be manipulated images. One account even shared a screenshot of alleged messages with one of the women in which they appear to confirm that it was made up.
