WHO ARE LARRY KING’S CHILDREN?
Larry King had five children.
His first son, Larry Jr was born in 1961 making him 60 years old in 2021. Larry and Larry Jr’s mother, Annette Kaye, unfortunately, divorced in 1961 and father and son didn’t meet until Larry Jr was in his thirties.
During Larry’s marriage to Alene Akins, he adopted her son, Andy. They later had a daughter, Chaia, who was born in 1969.
Both of Alene and Larry’s children sadly died in August 2020, within weeks of one another. Andy passed at the age of 65, from a heart attack, and Chaia, at 51, from lung cancer.
Thirty years after Chaia’s birth, Larry had a son, Chance, in 1999, with Shawn Southwick. The couple welcomed another son, Cannon, in 2000. Larry was also stepfather to Shawn’s son, Danny Southwick.
Chance is 22 years old while Cannon is 21.
In total, Larry had five children, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

HOW MANY TIMES WAS LARRY KING MARRIED?
Larry King was married eight times in his life – in total he was married to seven women.
He and his third wife, Playboy Bunny, Alene Akins, married twice. Once from 1961-1963 and again from 1967 – 1972.
Aged 19, Larry married his first wife, Freda Miller, from 1952 – 1953.
He and his second wife, Annette Kaye, married and divorced in the same year of 1961.
Larry and Mickey Sutphin were married from 1963 – 1967.
In 1976, he married Sharon Lepore until their divorce in 1983.
Larry’s sixth wife, and seventh marriage, was to Julie Alexander. The couple tied the knot in 1989 and divorced in 1992.
The TV show host’s final marriage was to Shawn Southwick in 1997. They were married until 2019.
HOW MUCH WAS LARRY WORTH?
Given the success of Larry’s career, it’s almost expected that the TV show host would have a high net worth.
Larry started out in radio and his career took him to heights of interviewing Frank Sinatra and Nelson Mandela. His net worth is estimated at $50m.
